Introduction: Socialist Action is,
and always will be, a unique publication. Unlike most newspaper that are owned, funded and
politically in line with big business, Socialist Action is a
working class newspaper! SA
newspaper is funded by contributions from its supporters, and is
distributed by workers, activists and students who see it and use
it as their voice.
Because SA is a working class newspaper,
we believe it is an importantly unique resource – a well researched,
quality paper that looks at and explains the world from the perspective
of the people, not the bosses.
It’s a great way for activists to keep their bearings and sort out
the misinformation in the corporate press, as well as a great tool for
introducing new people to socialist ideas.
A great educational tool that just sits on a
table or shelf collecting dust though isn’t a very useful one though –
which is why it’s so important to make sure that Socialist Action
is distributed as widely as possible.
We need to get this newspaper into the hands of as many people as
possible. To do that though we
need your help!
Pass Your Paper Around:
For starters, we urge all of our online
readers, and readers who buy individual physical copies, to purchase subscriptions
to the paper. That helps us to
fund the paper. And when you get
each month’s issue of Socialist Action in the mail, make sure it
gets passed around – to your co-workers, neighbors and classmates! Never throw away a copy of SA. If nothing else, drop it off at your
local laundry mat, college campus, union hall, bus station, bar or coffee
shop for someone else to pick up.
Get a Monthly Bundle to Distribute:
We also strongly encourage our readers to get
monthly bundles of Socialist Action. That way you can regularly distribute SA at
bookstores, cafes, laundry mats in your area, and hawk the paper at
protests, picket lines, street corners and plant gates. Bundles are $1 a copy, and you can get
as many copies a month as you want to pay for (a bundle of 4 papers is
$4, a bundle of 100 papers is $100, etc.).
To
order a bundle of Socialist Action to be delivered to your door
each month send a letter and a check made out to “Socialist Action”
for the number of papers you’d like to our National Office at 298

Buy a Gift Subscription:
Subscriptions to Socialist Action are
available for only $5 a year (12 issues) for first time subscribers, and
$12 a year for renewals. First class
subscriptions (which come in a sealed envelope and usually arrive 2-3
weeks sooner) are available for $18.
Overseas subscriptions are $15 for a year.

co-workers subscriptions to Socialist Action? They make great “Marxmas” gifts!
When
you buy a subscription for a friend or co-worker, make sure you indicate
the name and address you want the gift subscription to go to.

Online:
A number of our articles are posted online on
our website. Feel free to forward
our articles to people who think would be interested, as well as post
them on your local IndyMedia
or other alternative news website.
We
also have a bi-weekly ezine called Reisistance! We use for sending out select
articles from Socialist Action newspaper, International
Viewpoint magazine, and other SA statements, event announcements and
other materials. Tell your friends about our email list, and encourage
