Sept. 24 Duluth Protest: The Northland Anti-War Coalition will be
holding a rally & festival at 1pm at the Duluth Civic Center.
Sept. 24 Ashland Protest: Students Against War will be holding a
rally at the Bandshell on U.S. Hwy 2 at 6pm, preceded by a critical mass
bike ride through town.
Northland Anti-War Coalition Meetings:
NAWC meets on the 2nd
Monday of the month at 7pm at the Chester Creek Café in Duluth, MN.
ABC Peace North Pickets &
Meetings: Ashland-Bayfield
County Peace North holds peace pickets every Sunday at 8:30pm at the
Bandshell on U.S. Hwy 2 in Ashland, WI.
Planning meetings/discussions are held after the pickets.
Women in Black Vigils: WIB holds peace vigils every Wednesday of
every month at noon at the corner of Lake Ave. & Superior St. in
downtown Duluth, MN.
Save Our Unique Lands Events:
Lake Superior SOUL: Lake Superior
chapter of Save Our Unique Lands meets on the 3rd Monday of
every month at 7pm at the Bennett, WI community center.
Commie Sporting League Events:
Commie Sporting
League: The CSL will be hosting a soccer game on Friday,
Sept. 9 at 3pm at the public soccer field across from the High School in

Labor Events:
Northwest Pickets: The mechanics at Northwest Airlines are on strike, and their
union, AMFA, has pickets up at the Duluth airport every day from 5am to
11pm.
Spot Bar Pickets
in I Falls: UNITE HERE Local 99 holds pickets at
the Spot Bar in International Falls, MN every Monday through Saturday from
6-8pm. These are informational
picket lines to force the new anti-union owner to negotiate with the union
in good faith.
Duluth Central
Labor Body Meetings: The Duluth Central Labor Body meets
on the second Thursday of each month at 7pm in the basement of the Duluth
Labor Temple.
Ashland Trades
& Labor Council Meetings: The Ashland
Trades & Labor Council, which covers Ashland & Bayfield Counties,
meets on the 1st Thursday of every month at 7:30pm at the Moose
Lodge (1900 Ellis Ave.) in Ashland, WI.
Superior
Federation of Labor Meetings: The Superior
Federation of Labor meets on the 1st Wednesday of the month at 7:30pm at 1007 Tower Ave. in
Superior, WI.
